Stock Images & Licensing
Updated over 4 months ago

We utilise three primary stock image libraries to enhance your creative projects: Adobe Stock, Unsplash, and Pexels.

Each of these platforms offers a diverse collection of high-quality images that cater to various needs and styles. Adobe Stock provides professionally curated visuals, Unsplash showcases stunning, freely usable photography from talented contributors, and Pexels offers a vast array of free stock photos and videos.

Together, these resources allow us to find the perfect imagery to elevate your work.

How Stock Image Licensing Works

Unsplash, Pexels and other Royalty Free stock

Image providers work on a simple premise. They offer free images that are often used for marketing and design purposes. With Royalty Free licensing, you can use the images as many times as you want, without any additional fees.

However, some restrictions apply. For example, you cannot claim ownership of the image or resell it as your own. Additionally, if the image features a recognisable person or property, you may need to obtain model or property releases to use it commercially.

In simple terms, the license we hold with Adobe allows us to use most things from their library in the work we produce for you, and for you to use them as part of the final flattened document.

As an example: You request a social media post, we use a background image from Adobe Stock and apply colours, fonts and button to the design and send you the .jpg file to use in your new campaign.

Sending you the layered document (in Figma or Photoshop as an example) is not a problem, however, if you wanted to take the stock images / illustrations out of the document to use in another piece work (like another brochure or social media image) that you create yourself, you will need to obtain a separate license for those images.
